At Alliance Select Foods, we are committed to providing sustainably caught food products that are sourced in an environmentally and socially responsible way. This helps ensure our positive impact on the planet and future generations.
Develop a process for collecting and publishing fish source information from vendors, including species, vessel, gear, catch or farm location, catch or harvest date, cold storage location, and more.
Initiate the use of sustainably-sourced raw materials and ingredients from accredited suppliers with a sustainability program in place or in the process of implementing one. We continue to implement initiatives to minimize our carbon footprint and waste products, as well as the use of water and energy.
Establish a task force dedicated to reducing waste and improving water and energy efficiency by 5% annually. This target will be integrated into the company’s key performance indicators (KPIs), with progress monitored and reviewed on a monthly basis.
Foster continuous improvement efforts in our industry by actively supporting Fisheries Improvement Plans (FIPs) and strengthening relationships with industry NGOs.
